We now have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join our busy Finance team.
In this role you will work with a team of Accountants providing valuable assistance with meeting month end deadlines. This is a high-volume role which will require enthusiasm and dedication from the get go and a fantastic opportunity to gain some amazing experience in a dynamic, international company.
- Download and import all monthly bank statements to accounting system
- Reconcile banks
- Post journals and batches in Great Plains
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Assist with company secretarial requirements
- Manage tangible and intangible fixed asset ledgers
- Manage bank master file consisting of 90+ bank accounts
- Weekly overhead invoice posting
- Assist with audit preparation
- Mange year end close of fixed asset ledgers
- Ad-hoc reports/analysis as required
- Preferably 2 years’ experience in a similar role (minimum 1 year)
- Excellent excel skills
- Experience in Great Plains would be an advantage
- Amazing attention to detail
- Excellent judgement
- Ability to work under pressure and produce a high volume of work under tight deadlines
- Interest in Accounting
